Solo in Canada
from Rinkside with Aarif Deen Hosted by Mile High Sports
The Avalanche bounced back against the Montreal Canadiens after a forgettable day in Toronto. Aarif comes to you live from Toronto on Friday to recap both games on this rare solo edition of the podcast. With JJ on vacation, Aarif traveled to Toronto to cover Wednesday's game live from Scotiabank Arena. He breaks down the Darcy Kuemper injury and how the emergency goalie Jett Alexander's story unfolded. Aarif also breaks down the media hoopla in Toronto, calling up Justus Annunen, an update on Pavel Francouz and why the Avs decided to roll with Jonas Johansson on consecutive nights. He also discusses the latest injury to Bowen Byram and what it could mean for his future. All that and more on this edition of Hockey Mountain High: Your go-to Avalanche Podcast. (editor's note: The Avalanche recalled defenseman Jacob MacDonald after this episode was recorded). Produced by Patrick Steadman. Follow the guys on Twitter @JJoftheyear and @runwriteAarif
