SOLOEPISODE - my first learning about responsibility

When I was 20 years old I was serving an apprenticeship with a large German company. One of my bosses occasionally sat in his office with me and gave me his perspective on business - unlike many others who just told me what to do next. This man was actually (if on purpose or not) giving me valuable lessons.What he said about problems and solutions was actually the first time that someone clearly addressed his expectations to me. Before,. I had only guessed what the expectations were. No one has ever clearly pointed this out (or at least I did not understand it). It did not only leave a long-lasting impression on me, I still think about this quite often: the focus on the solution (and what this means in regards of responsibility).
