Leslie Gavel's daughter, a priveledged, middle-class adolescent became a "drop out" because she could not engage with traditional school, and it has been difficult for her to seperate herself from the stigma of being a "high school dropout." Gavel investigated the effect of a traditional brick and mortar school and the system behind it and found not answers, but more and more questions.
