Some personal professional news and how it (largely doesn’t) impact this site

As the video explains we are facing a crisis in local news gathering journalism throughout the United States. This is something I feel very deeply and strongly about.Therefore after a period of conversations and discussions, I’ve accepted an offer to join a local newspaper (The Boca Raton Tribune )in my area. This will complement my efforts here at BT 90 as well as my book writing on Florida History with a book to be published this summer by Casemate in the United Kingdom and another book which I’m currently working on which I hope to have complete by early next year. BT90 will remain as is with my usual contribution but to create personal bandwidth, I will no longer be updating The Florida Squeeze website regularly (the social media for this site had been handed off years ago). I will continue to host the weekly Florida History Podcast. This is a public episode.
