some Things I've Given Up by Homeschooling for 14 Years

from The Funschoolers · host Christal Marshall M.Ed.

some Things I've Given Up by Homeschooling for 14 YearsThe first and most significant change has been my career. Transitioning from a K-12 certified teacher with a master’s degree to a full-time homeschool mom has required a complete overhaul of how I approach work. I've learned to run a business from home, create passive income streams, manage marketing, and organize my schedule in ways I never had to before. But would I trade this life for my old job if I could? Absolutely not. I have no regrets. I love what I do! Witnessing my children's progress, teaching them job skills, and instilling life skills through hands-on learning is incredibly rewarding. These are the three major areas I’ve had to adjust: my career, my home environment, and the opinions of others. If you’re interested in homeschooling in Virginia, visit my website at www.thefunschoolers.com for resources, curriculum picks, and more. I’d love to connect with you, whether you’re local or from another state. Keep learning fun!
