Because what they carried was not in their bags. It was in them. What towns needed was not something they had to go purchase or produce. It was already deposited inside them, placed there by God, waiting to be poured out on the people they were sent to. The answer someone else was desperate for was connected to what God had already put in them.The same is true of YOU.There is someone whose breakthrough is tied to something God placed in YOU — a word, a gift, a resource, a presence, an act of obedience that only YOU are positioned to deliver. YOU have looked at what YOU carry and called it ordinary. Heaven calls it an assignment. And someone out there is waiting on the thing YOU have been overlooking in yourself.There is a pattern woven all through Scripture — one this passage sits right in the middle of — where God chooses to meet needs through ordinary people who simply made themselves available. Not the most gifted. Not the most resourced. The most willing. And every one of them discovered that the thing already in their hands was exactly what someone else's answer required.What were they sent to carry? Why did they need so little to do so much?
