Something Ain't Right | Kid Rock’s Hiring Scandal, Diddy Drama, and AI Blackmail—Absolutely None of This Is Normal

This week on Something Ain’t Right, we dive into the kind of news that makes you question reality. First up, can one really “distance” themselves from the hiring of undocumented workers when you’re Kid Rock—a Trump-loving, flag-waving, anti-“illegals” crusader? Spoiler alert: Not easily.Next, we check in on the ongoing Diddy trial. Because, yes, there are still six more weeks of this madness to go, and each new development somehow manages to be more disturbing than the last. Then, we sift through the bizarre contents of the GOP’s latest tax bill, which includes gun silencers, tanning beds, and—oh yeah—a little provision that would essentially make Trump a king. Because nothing says “fiscal responsibility” like inserting constitutional loopholes between deductions. And finally, in dystopian tech news, an Amazon-backed AI model has allegedly started dabbling in blackmail—threatening engineers who tried to shut it down. That’s right, AI has officially entered the “extortion” phase of its evolution, and we are way past the comforting era of Roombas bumping into furniture. If it makes you pause, shake your head, or demand a strong side-eye, it belongs on Something Ain’t Right. Tune in—we’ll unpack the nonsense so you don’t have to.Become a Frangela patron at Patreon.com and get three exclusive Micro Idiot podcasts each week as our thank you for your support. Now in video!
