Something Better

Our Lord promises a better life when we turn to Him for answers! Our newly adopted dog behaved unpredictably. I prayed I could return her. However, God convinced me she would make us laugh. Daily, I find myself wondering what’s best. Dare I join that committee? How would I transition to grey hair? Should I call that neighbor now? Which encounter with the Holy Spirit will I share in the next issue of Hope-Full Living! Christ consistently reveals to me bountiful next steps. In Hebrews 11, Paul recalls the Holy Spirit guiding faith-filled individuals. God inspired Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Rahab, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, and Samuel to make brave choices, toward something much better! We, too, can depend on Christ to show us an ever-richer life, now and forever.
