Something Left Undone (naviarhaiku651)

A solo electric guitar improvisation recorded live while testing a new pedalboard. After the session, I listened back and felt there were a few interesting ideas in it, but I left it aside, unfinished, for later. Then I read this haiku: Autumn sunset— is there something of mine left undone? — Fusae Fubasami A week later, I returned to the recording and overdubbed a series of synthesizer parts, following the original guitar improvisation. The piece remains floating and ambient, but the synths gradually introduce a gentle pulse beneath the guitar. Composed and performed by DD, June 2026. Photo by Daria Sheveleva. @naviar-records
