In their longest episode yet, the Sneople wraps up 2021 with a tribute to one of their favorite artists, who has recently passed away - Stephen Sondheim! After a very quick What We Sneep, Helena and Ezra embark on a chronological discussion of almost every Sondheim musical, with Matty chiming in once they reach Into the Woods. After Helena dips out of the episode, Matty and Ezra wrap up the list with Assassins and Road Show/Bounce. They close out the episode with an emotional discussion on his legacy and the strange process of grieving a celebrity you never knew but made a profound impact on your life. Spoiler alert: there is crying involved. After this episode, the Sneople will be taking a winter break and will return in January 2022!
