Somme - The Aftermath

What was the Battle of the Somme about? Was it worth it? In this final episode on the Somme, we'll take a look at what was lost and what was gained in the mammoth clash of arms in Picardy in 1916. We'll also talk about future plans: mainly the next battle to be covered. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen, and we'll be back in the trenches soon.
