In his third State of the Nation Address, South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa acknowledged that the state of the economy was not making it conducive for job seekers especially young people. Ramaphosa announced a ten year plan which would create two-million jobs for youth through working with the private sector and investment drive. He emphasised that it was essential to strengthen the state owned enterprises such as Eskom which contributed to the shrinking of the economy.
