Er verrät mir, wie er mit stetiger Kommunikation mit allen Gewerken die Bodenständigkeit der Serie durch die VFX unterstützt hat. Als 2022 die erste Staffel der Star-Wars-Serie „Andor“ auf Disney+ Premiere feierte waren Kritiker und Publikum gleichermaßen begeistert. Grund war die außergewöhnlich bodenständige Umsetzung des Dramas. Statt auf Weltraumschlachten und Laserschwertduelle setzte die Serie auf Figurenentwicklung und Erkundung des Privaten. Ich sprach auf der FMX 2025 in Stuttgart im Mai mit VFX Supervisor Mohen Leo von Industrial Light &amp; Magic über die Zusammenarbeit der Gewerke und wie die VFX zur Erdung der Serie in der Realität beitrug. Kranfahrt Wenn Schauspieler Kyler Soller als Syril Karn in der vierten Episode der zweiten Staffel von „Andor“ die Stufen des gewaltigen Plaza-Sets erklimmt, macht sich das Publikum zuhause vor den 4K-UHD-Fernsehern hoffentlich keine Gedanken über die Menschen, die das möglich machten. Deren Job ist genau das: die Immersion des Publikums in die Geschichte. Das große Set entstand im Backlot der Pinewood-Studios in der Nähe von London. Die Kranfahrt Zeit mit einem Schwenk den weitläufigen Platz mit dem dahinterliegenden Dome des Imperialen Bürogebäudes und der im Bau befindlichen Waffenkammer von Palmo.
