(Foto: privat) Überraschung: In dieser Sonderfolge unterhalte ich mich mit Schauspieler, Drehbuchautor und Regisseur Janek Rieke über „Beule zerlegt die Welt“. Der Kinofilm ist seit heute 11. September in den Lichtspielhäusern und stellt Janeks zweite Regiearbeit dar. Wir sprechen über die Entwicklung des Stoffes, das Auf und Ab der Entstehung und wie schön kleine Teans sein können. Wer in der deutschen TV- und Kinolandschaft als Zuschauende*r unterwegs ist, kennt Janek Riekes Gesicht seit 25 Jahren. Zahlreiche Fernsehfilme und die ein oder anderen Kinokomödie hat er durch sein Spiel bereichert. Was viele vielleicht gar nicht wissen: Janek hat Regie studiert. Und hat schon 1998 sein Langfilm-Debüt „Härtetest“ als Regisseur und Schauspieler ins Kino gebracht. Über den Film habe ich im Frühjahr mit seinem damaligen DoP Florian Ballhaus in einer Werkschau-Episode hier im Podcast gesprochen. Dehbuchkürzungen und aufwändige Stunts Janek berichtet in dieser Sonderfolge vom schmerzhaften Prozess, sein 120-Seiten-Drehbuch auf 80 Seiten zu kürzen, erzählt, was rausflog und wie er den ursprünglich sehr aufwändigen Filmanfang anders löste. Wovon sich Janek nicht lösen konnte, waren die zehlreichen Stunts und Actionszenen. So läuft er unter anderem mit einer Axt hinter Max Giermann her oder sitzt in einem umstürzenden Auto.
