song for peace

my song for peace in the world In the silence after sirens in the night Broken cities slowly waiting for the light Too many mothers crying for their sons Too many battles nobody has won We were born beneath the very same sky Different flags but the same human cry If we listen to the truth inside our hearts We would see we’re not that far apart No more hatred, no more pain Let the sunshine break the rain Let the world sing love instead of war Open every heart and every door Put the weapons on the ground forevermore Let the children dream like never before We are stronger when our hearts restore Let the world choose love instead of war Every border is a line that we create Every soldier is a child of someone’s fate If we traded every bullet for a hand We could finally learn to understand Different colors, languages and names But the fire in our souls burns the same When compassion is the path that we explore There will be no need for war anymore No more anger, no more fear Let the sound of hope appear Let the world sing love instead of war Open every heart and every door Put the weapons on the ground forevermore Let the children dream like never before We are stronger when our hearts restore Let the world choose love instead of war One planet, one chance One moment to stand Together we rise Together we can No kings, no crowns Just peace all around A future where love is the sound Let the world sing love instead of war Let forgiveness lead us to the shore Where no tears are falling anymore Let the children laugh forevermore We are stronger than we were before Let the world choose love… Love instead of war. 🌍❤️
