"Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests!’" What an outburst of response to the news of who this baby was and would be! But of all words this army of angels could have chosen to describe the result of the birth of this child, they very carefully chose the word ‘peace’. Why? And what does this mean for us at Christmas?
