SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 Movie Reaction! | First Time Watch | Ben Schwartz | Jim Carrey | Idris Elba

Brandon & Vivian react to Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022), the fast-paced video game adventure sequel that follows Sonic as he teams up with Tails to stop Dr. Robotnik and the powerful Knuckles from obtaining the mysterious Master Emerald. Expanding the world of the first film with bigger action, deeper game references, and more iconic characters from the franchise, the movie blends comedy, heart, and high-energy spectacle into a larger-scale adventure. This reaction stands out for its mix of nostalgic fan service, chaotic action, and emotional character moments, as Brandon & Vivian experience the sequel’s humor, battles, and game-inspired reveals in real time. Directed by Jeff Fowler (Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, animation shorts, visual effects projects, video game adaptations), the film stars Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation, DuckTales, Space Force, The Afterparty, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Jim Carrey (The Mask, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, Bruce Almighty, How the Grinch Stole Christmas), Idris Elba (Luther, The Suicide Squad, Thor, Beast, Hijack), Colleen O’Shaughnessey (Sonic Boom, Digimon Adventure, Danny Phantom, Naruto, W.I.T.C.H.), and James Marsden (X-Men, Westworld, Superman Returns, Enchanted, Jury Duty), bringing together a cast tied to major franchises, animation favorites, and nostalgic gaming properties that continue to drive strong reaction and crossover audience appeal. ___________________________________________________ We've got merch!
