Giving up a corporate career in the fashion industry that was no longer fulfilling her, in 2011, Sonya took on her first yoga teacher training with Modo Yoga and hasn’t looked back since. Becoming a successful yoga instructor in the city, and then loving the work she was doing with prenatal yoga took her into the direction of being a birth doula. Her motto is live to learn and as she has evolved and grown she has continued to take on wearing more and more capes, she is also thriving as a reiki practitioner and wellness coach.
