Sooners Face Georgia in Historic SEC Clash | Georgia Bulldogs Football News

The Oklahoma Sooners gear up for a historic showdown against No. 2 Georgia on September 26th, kicking off at 2:30 PM CT on ABC or ESPN — their first SEC clash since the 2017 playoff thriller. Coming off a tough 17-10 loss to Michigan, where the offense sputtered and an interception sealed the defeat, OU still carries confidence under Coach Brent Venables, who insists the schedule isn’t getting harder. Georgia, meanwhile, is rolling with dominant wins over Tennessee State and Western Kentucky, showcasing a fearsome offense and stout defense. Before facing the Bulldogs, OU takes on New Mexico this Saturday, then prepares for the Red River Rivalry. This matchup marks the first-ever meeting on campus — don’t miss it.
