Sooners Lock In Top Oklahoma Talent | Oklahoma Sooners Basketball News

Oklahoma basketball is poised for a major recruiting surge in 2028, with three top in-state prospects—Parker McDaniel, Keaton Murry, and Rodney Washington—all receiving scholarship offers. Murry, now the top recruit in Oklahoma and 63rd nationally, is already making noise on the summer circuit, while McDaniel, a top shooter at 76th nationally, and Washington, a versatile athlete, round out this elite trio. The Sooners’ early moves signal a renewed focus on locking down homegrown talent, mirroring their football strategy. With elite programs circling, Coach Moser’s staff now faces the challenge of turning offers into commitments—landing even one would be a huge win, but snagging all three could reshape the program’s future.
