Sophia, The Demiurge, and The Gnostic Truth the Roman Church Spent Centuries Destroying

from Grandmaster Timothy Hogan · host Timothy Hogan

Timothy Hogan is the 33rd Grand Master of the Knights Templar in direct succession from Jacques de Molay, and in this episode he opens the Order's theological archive more publicly than it has ever been opened before. The suppression of 1307 was not about heresy in any ordinary sense - the Templars were Gnostic Christians preserving a form of Christianity that predated the Roman Church, empowered individuals without priestly intermediary, and offered a cosmological framework so threatening to institutional authority that both the Church and the French monarchy conspired to destroy it. Friday October 13th, 1307 - the origin of the unlucky date - was the result. The theology at the heart of the tradition begins with the Gnostic cosmology: the Monad, the Pleroma, the accidental creation of the Demiurge - the lesser god Timothy identifies as the God of the Old Testament - and the material world as a prison dimension from which souls incarnate repeatedly until they achieve Gnosis and return to the realm of light. The word Baphomet decodes through the Hebrew atbash cipher to mean Sophia, goddess of wisdom. Mary Magdalene represented Sophia embodied. Jesus represented the Christos. The seven demons removed from her were seven chakra blockages cleared, opening her to direct divine knowledge that no priest could grant or withhold. The rose cross symbol traces to the Egyptian underworld beneath Giza - a tunnel network known as Rostau, transliterated by the Templars into Rosa and Tau - and to the Kabbalistic image of consciousness blooming from matter. This symbol is encoded into every Gothic cathedral the Templars funded, with alchemical stages depicted on the doors of Notre Dame at head height. The Rosicrucian Order, Freemasonry, and the founding of the United States were all expressions of the same Templar transmission - a single thread of knowledge running from Atlantis through Egypt, the Druze, the Sabians, and the Sufi traditions to the present day.The Templar mission, Timothy argues, has always been the reassembly of what Atlantis knew - collecting fragments preserved across every surviving culture and bringing them back into the oneness. The same secret hand grip used in the Master Mason degree appears among the Hopi, the Mi'kmaq, the Blackfoot, and the Mayans, all of whom trace it to a transmission made before the last great cataclysm. E Pluribus Unum. Out of many, one. The New Atlantis is not a finished project. It is a work still in progress - and Timothy believes the time to complete it openly has finally arrived.⏱️ TIMESTAMPS:0:00 - Introduction: The 33rd Grand Master2:16 - Friday the 13th, 1307: The Templar Arrest7:47 - What the Templars were accused of10:55 - Baphomet decoded: The Atbash cipher reveals "Sophia"13:34 - The Egyptian origin of Baphomet: Ba + Fa + Ma'at16:45 - The Gnostic tradition explained21:18 - The Sophia myth: Monad, Pleroma, Demiurge27:22 - Jesus as the Christos, Mary Magdalene as Sophia29:17 - The seven "demons" = seven chakras opened33:15 - The secret name I-A-O and its global parallels38:10 - Isis and Osiris: The same myth in Egypt40:11 - Initiation ceremonies: Symbolic death and raising47:25 - Rosetau: The underground world beneath the pyramids49:48 - The rose cross symbol and its true origin54:08 - Gothic cathedrals as encoded rose crosses59:32 - The founding of the Rosicrucian order1:02:03 - The Druze connection and secret forms of recognition1:03:48 - The Hopi handshake and the Atlantean source tradition1:05:38 - The Templar mission: Rebuilding the New Atlantis
