Sophie Nélisse Talks 'Yellowjackets' Season 3 Finale, Fan Theories & Shauna's Trauma

The Windsor, Canada-born, Montreal-raised actor joins us in the studio for the first time to discuss all aspects of Yellowjackets — a series which follows a high school girls' soccer team whose plane crashes, leaving them stranded in the wilderness and haunted for decades. Since its premiere in the fall of 2021, the psychological horror-cum-survival drama has gripped audiences with its twisted humor and dark, jaw-dropping plot twists. Not to mention the riveting interplay between the largely female cast whose storylines are split between two timelines. As Shauna Shipman, Nélisse plays one of the central and increasingly mercurial and divisive characters. She lifts the lid on what it was like filming some of the series most difficult scenes, pit girl, funeral parties, the interplay and camaraderie between the cast, and how she approaches playing the progressively unhinged Shauna.
