Across the country- MS, LA, TN, WV, SC, and OH deployed National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. to support federal policing operations; IL was identified as a possible next site for Guard and federal law enforcement deployments; AL, AR, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, LA, NE, NV, NM, OH, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WY prepared Guard mobilizations to assist DHS; and in IN, the Seventh Circuit upheld an injunction blocking the state’s 25-foot police buffer law.
