Soriano Could Elevate Guardians Rotation | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians are eyeing a big move: trading for Angels pitcher Jose Soriano, a 27-year-old ace with a 97 mph fastball, elite ground-ball rates, and a 3.72 ERA—all under team control through 2028. While the Angels haven’t been great at developing pitchers, Soriano’s upside could skyrocket with the right coaching. A deal would likely require sacrificing young talent like Doughty, Genao, or Velazquez, but the payoff? A top-five rotation that could carry the Guardians through three playoff runs. Paired with offensive upgrades like Adell and France, this could be the blueprint for a deep postseason run. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
