Psalm 51 This message captures many of the thoughts and feelings that have been expressed, especially by men. Psalm 51 is a standout word, which speaks of confession and repentance from personal sin. What David is seeking, and I sense that many men are seeking, is to ask God to “blot out”, “wash away” and be “cleansed” (vs1-2). What David does is provide a list of wrongs that is meant to be comprehensive. His confession was far-reaching and complete. What God is seeking from all of us is transparency in our lives. Women are also asking this from their men.
