I don’t know about you but I find it difficult to ask someone for something – even if it’s for something simple. Perhaps I don’t want to be a burden or bother them or maybe I think that I can somehow manage on my own or save the request for the big stuff of life. Sometimes that same mentality can also trickle into our prayer life as we may be hesitant to approach God with those things that weigh on our hearts. This week we are invited to not only reflect on the gift of the Lord’s Prayer but Jesus’ invitation to be persistent in prayer.
