That’s right, it’s our first full-blown rock star: Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum! Dave joins us from the road for Episode 11 to chat about the new LP “Slowly but Shirley,” the accompanying fall tour, cold-cut turkey, and 40 years of the band.  If you have been living under a rock since 1988– Soul Asylum is a GRAMMY award-winning rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Best known for their massive radio hits “Runaway Train” and “Somebody to Shove,” the group has spent the better part of the last four decades on the road, and has even played a presidential inauguration!
