Summary
This week on the NursePreneur Podcast we sat down with Christen Resmo, founder of Soul Awakening. With over three decades of experience as a nurse, Christen discusses her many roles in healthcare, including working as a cardiac ICU charge nurse. During her time working in the ICU Christen began to tune into the emotional intuition of patient care, which she calls “the art of nursing”. She noticed that health isn’t just how it looks on paper, which is why she began exploring alternative healing modalities, including healing touch and Reiki. After years of going back and forth between entrepreneurism and healthcare roles, Christen finally broke away and started her own business, combining her healthcare background with holistic wellness practices. Now Christen is partnered with Functional Nutrition Therapist, Mary Beth Gudewicz and together they help their patients take control of their health and wellness. With an emphasis on the spiritual aspect of healing, Soul Awakening seeks to wake patients up to who they truly are so they can heal, grow, and thrive.
