Soul Love for Cold Love

Today, Bishop continues the series on "love" from Revelations 2:4-5. Love is always giving and we can't give without loving. The five spiritual gifts Apostle Paul mentions are ineffective if we don't love properly. Love must be fervent, which mean must have some heat or passion. Love pulls together the other graces in perfect and unified action. Above all, this means as far as fellow believers are concerned, right relationships between them are paramount. Love is blind to the the faults of others. According to Deuteronomy 6:4-6, we must love the LORD our God with all of our heart, soul and strength. If you find that you have lost that loving feeling, you can return back to your first love. First, you must desire to regain that close communion with Christ. Second, repent. This means change your mind and purpose along with your conduct and demeanor. Lastly, repeat the first works, i.e. watch, fast, pray, reprove sin, obedient service and worship.
