❤️Mat 5:31  It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:Mat 5:32  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. KJV❤️Matthew 5:31-32 NLT[31] You have heard the law that says, 'A man can divorce his wife by merely giving her a written notice of divorce.' [32] But I say that a man who divorces his wife, unless she has been unfaithful, causes her to commit adultery. And anyone who marries a divorced woman also commits adultery. 🔵1 Corinthians 7:8-15 1 Corinthians 7:8-15 NLT[8] So I say to those who aren't married and to widows-it's better to stay unmarried, just as I am. 9 But if they can't control themselves, they should go ahead and marry. It's better to marry than to burn with lust. 🔵note that he is saying it is better to remain single. However, if lust is an issue, it’s better to remarry than burn with lust. And you don’t want lust to lead to fornication.Vs.1010] But for those who are married, I have a command that comes not from me, but from the Lord. 💙A wife must not leave her husband. 💙11] But if she does leave him, let her remain single or else be reconciled to him. And the husband must not leave his wife. 💙12] Now, I will speak to the rest of you, though I do not have a direct command from the Lord. If a fellow believer has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to continue living with him, he must not leave her. 💙13] And if a believing woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to continue living with her, she must not leave him. 🔵note, that Paul said, he did not have a direct command from the Lord. Vs.14💙14] For the believing wife brings holiness to her marriage, and the believing husband brings holiness to his marriage. Otherwise, your children would not be holy, but now they are holy. Eph 5:8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:Eph 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)Eph 5:10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.Galatians 5:16-26 speaks of walking in the spirit.
