Souled Out - S 5: Ep 1

from SOULED OUT PODCAST · host Souled Out Media

Well -- let's just get this out of the way right away. It wouldn't be an official kick off to a brand new season of the Souled Out podcast without a few ridiculous technical goofs. Apologies for a few small moments of missing audio in today's show. To catch what you missed -- feel free to listen to the official audio version of this episode on the AnchorApp, Spotify, Google Podcast, Apple Podcasts, etc. The goal for this episode was to actually get into some of the awful things plaguing society right now -- and I'm not talking about the coronavirus. I'm talking about the crazy surge we're seeing in drug/alcohol consumption, suicide attempts, overdoses, depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. The negative effects of our rapid societal changes are very evident at this time and do deserve to be brought to the discussion table. How helpful can it be for us to take a break from social media? Perhaps there are profound effects on our mental and physical health. What about EMF? Poor gut health? What about our sense of "purpose"? How does "fear" itself fit into the mental health equation? Today we dissect all these things in an honest attempt to uncover a few possible ways to improve our lives mentally, physically, and spiritually. Join us once again on the Souled Out rollercoaster!
