"Let's start from the beginning, and for this we will have to go back to 2000, when Jazzanova released a series of mixes: Live on BBC Radio, Live in der Clubzone, Live on Wsound Radio. Should old people remember? :) These mixes were so much listened to by me that I can still sing fragments of the compilation from memory. The beauty of these mixes was not only in the obvious exclusivity of Jazzanova's musical taste, beautiful live mixing of the tracks, but also in the fact that they were not mixes in the usual way for me. It was more of a musical collage, assembled from the best, sometimes very short "pieces" of tracks. The stylistics went mostly into pre-jazzized hip-hop with sharp transitions through scratching. But the approach itself - to take the best from the track and cut off everything superfluous - has forever sunk into my soul. This is what I wanted to bring to the Time To Love mixes.
