During their conversation, they discuss the meaning of living from the heart, its impact on personal and spiritual growth, memorable experiences of living from the heart, cultivating authenticity and vulnerability, and advice for connecting with one’s heart's desires.Meet Maureen:Maureen Miller lives in the Okanagan Valley with her husband, Don. They have two children and three lively grandchildren who call them “Gammy and Gup.” After a fulfilling career as a laboratory technologist, Maureen discovered a longing for deeper spirituality in 2004. She pursued spiritual direction and now co-facilitates the Living From the Heart course. Maureen enjoys offering retreats, spiritual direction, and peer supervision, and loves sailing and painting.Meet Brent:Brent Unrau lives in an intentional community on Kingfisher Farm in South Surrey, B.C., and discovered the richness of the contemplative journey through SoulStream’s Living From the Heart course in 2009–2010. He splits his time between being a therapist at cascadechristiancounselling.com and a Spiritual Director. Brent co-facilitates the Living From the Heart course and enjoys plays, films, poetry, podcasts, hiking, and cultural adventures with his wife. He has two adult children, a son-in-law, and two active grandchildren.
