Today marks not only the release of our July podcast with the incredibly talented Ariel Zetina, but also a new direction for Sound Coalitions. Have you noticed a new addition to Sound Coalitions? That's Christopher Dotson- he's a part of the Direct to Earth techno collective in the Bay Area. DTE is known to bring some of the biggest names in underground techno to the Bay while supporting the scene and local artists. Now that it's Chris & Chris, we are excited to be working together to support various under-represented communities and share quality electronic dance music through Sound Coalitions. To start our partnership off right, we're bringing you a banging mix by Chicago’s Ariel Zetina. We got to know Ariel at the Gays Hate Techno gathering and let’s be real: she is on fire right now! Just this week the DJ, producer, and playwright was added to the Discwoman roster. She serves as Smartbar’s newest resident and throws several other nights around town including Rosebud at Berlin Nightclub and Ariel’s Party. Ariel’s genre-hopping, club-forward sound makes dance floors move.
