Sound of Africa vol 12: Amapiano (Summer 2020)

It's been a minute (actually 7 years) since I focused one of these Sound of Africa mixes solely on South Africa, but you can't deny the excitement around Amapiano. It's been one of the most exciting genres to come out of the continent recently. 2019 saw it explode beyond South African borders and start influencing producers and DJs all over the world, including many Nigerian afrobeat hitmakers.
