Una de les "insistències" més conegudes procedents del món del jazz és aquell "We Insist!" transformat en un manifest sonor de defensa dels drets civils que, subtitulat "Freedom Now Suite", va escriure i dirigir el baterista Max Roach l'any 1960. Reedicions i reedicions d'aquell treball han encadenat aquell llegat i ara ens retorna en versió remasteritzada, ampliada i ben documentada.
