Directed by Martin Campbell, GoldenEye is the spy film featuring the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is the seventeenth film in the James Bond series to be produced by Eon Productions and the first to star Pierce Brosnan as 007. Luke and Jae debrief on this 1995 espionage caper which is the first in the Bond series to not utilise any story elements from the works of novelist Ian Fleming, and was the final film project with the involvement of producer Albert R. Broccoli. When a powerful satellite system falls into the hands of Alec Trevelyan, AKA Agent 006 (Sean Bean), a former ally-turned-enemy, only James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) can save the world from an awesome space weapon that could destroy the earth! As Bond squares off against his former compatriot, he also battles Trevelyan's stunning ally, Xenia Onatopp (Famke Janssen), an assassin who uses pleasure as her ultimate weapon.
