Sounds Of Brass with Chris 10th June

This weeks broadcast with Chris Johnston features Westoe Brass Band a community brass band that is based in the town of South Shields. The band is actively involved in the local community and collaborates with the South Tyneside Council to participate in various local events throughout the year, such as the South Shields Parade, Remembrance Sunday, and Armed Forces Day. Additionally, they also perform concerts at the Amphitheatre located on South Shields seafront.
