This weeks broadcast with Chris Johnston features The North Limburg Brass Band & David Thornton.At the end of August in 1995, a few fanatical brass players from the north of Belgian Limburg gathered around the idea of starting a brass band together. They looked around the region and gathered musicians from the HaFa orchestras of Achel, Overpelt, Lommel, Eksel and Peer, among others. The first rehearsal took place on September 2 of that same year.
