Buchanan’s NCAA waiver was denied, moving his fifth-year eligibility fight into the legal system—but he remains enrolled, is allowed to practice and has been a full participant with Ross Hodge’s team. Meanwhile, Lorient is pursuing his own opportunity to regain a season through the courts.
