Informational Interview contact name sources: Authors/Content Creators What are Informational Interviews? Informational Interviews can be an effective way to learn about a profession. An Informational Interview where you contact a person in a profession you are interested in learning more about. You contact the person and learn about the profession. This 5- part series will inform you where you can find contact names for informational interviews. We have scheduled the rest of the posts to appear on the remaining Wednesdays for October. For this week, a resource for finding contact names for informational interviews is Authors/Content Creators. Career Content in a profession. Sometimes when you are trying to find information on a particular profession; you may find content in that profession. Content could be in different forms, like an article, book, YouTube video, or podcast. You may find a content creator creates an excellent piece of content in a particular profession you are interested in. You may find it valuable to contact that content creator for an informational interview. You may find the contact creator contact information in a variety of different places, including: The Content piece itself may have contact information on how to contact the content creator LinkedIn may offer contact information for the content creator Other forms of Social Media may offer contact information for the content creator Authors/Content Creators may be another source for informational interviews.
