Activities and events to highlight the importance of the tourism sector continue in South Africa. This, as the country marks Tourism Month ,an annual celebration held in September to focus on the importance of tourism to the economy of South Africa. It seeks to highlight the importance of tourism and its invaluable contribution to South Africa's economy, culminating on the United Nations World Tourism Organisation's Tourism Day on 27 September.
