South African job summit

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that government has signed a framework agreement which is expected to create 275 000 jobs annually, he said this would provide an opportunity to "develop trust and forge cooperation". Speaking at the national jobs summit held last week Ramaphosa said a lot needed to be done to lift the economy which saw a recession in the second quarter. Furthermore, the financial sector has committed one-hundred billion rand over the next five years to support black businesses.
