South Africa's Economy

from African Dialogue · host Channel Africa

Earlier this month South Africa’s president Cyril Ramaphosa announced the newly appointed 18 member economic advisory panel. It is hoped that the new panel will steer the country’s economic down turn towards the right direction and will bring tangible change. In an earlier interview I had with Professor Richard Parsons from the North West University he stresses the importance of South Africa taking bold steps now so that our economy can start to strengthen and for that he says we need bold leadership. He says his love for economics started when he was a young boy.
