South Africa's Electronic Travel Authorisation system

from The National Pulse · host SAfm

Yesterday, President Cyril Ramaphosa officially launched South Africa's Electronic Travel Authorisation system. The system is designed to make travelling to South Africa easier and more predictable for eligible international visitors, while strengthening the government’s ability to assess travellers and manage the country’s borders. The launch took place at OR Tambo International Airport, South Africa’s busiest international gateway, and forms part of a broader government drive to modernise Home Affairs services and remove barriers to tourism, trade and investment.  GUEST: Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa, CEO of Tourism Business Council of South Africa
