Premier of South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal Province Senzo, Mchunu, has stepped down after wide speculations that he was due to relinquish his position. Reports surfaced on Friday that ruling ANC Provincial Executive Committee had asked him to vacate his position. Mchunu is expected to be re-deployed to parliament.
