South Alabama Lands NAIA's Top Shooter

South Alabama mens basketball secures a major win with the signing of transfer guard Jalen Langsy for the 2026-27 season. This six-foot-one sharpshooter from Minnesota had a breakout year in NAIA ball, averaging 27.3 points per game, shooting 51% from three, and 90.9% from the free-throw line. Langsy started all 34 games, scoring 928 points, 152 threes, 135 assists, and 41 steals. He shot an impressive 58.1% from the field overall, breaking his schools single-season three-point record and scoring a career-high 49 points. Coach Riley praises Langsys elite pace, smarts, and defensive skills, fitting perfectly into their zone scheme. Langsys family joins the program, and hes no stranger to high-scoring games, earning all-conference nods in high school and first-team honors as a freshman. With these moves, South Alabama is building a formidable team for next season. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
