South Dakota Player with Heart: Karley Luke

Karley Luke was selected as a Beck's Player with Heart because of her involvement and dedication to her school, sports, and community. In school, Karley plays volleyball and basketball, and participates in track, FFA, and FCA. She says she loves being able to make different connections through these activities. Karley is also involved in a youth group, works as a life guard, and volunteers frequently around her community. Karley shows her commitment to the agriculture industry through her work as FFA chapter president and while growing up on a production agriculture farm with confinement pigs and show sheep. She says that agriculture has helped her strengthen her bonds to her community, allowing her to be part of something bigger. Agriculture has also taught Karley to persevere through the hard things and how to be dependable and responsible.
