A convicted child sex offender who is serving a 39-year prison sentence has appeared before the Court of Appeal seeking permission to challenge both his sentence and his convictions. GBC's court reporter Melanie Chipolina Giuliano brought us the latest. For the first time in more than 40 years, the public will soon be able to step inside one of Gibraltar's most recognisable landmarks. The Europa Point Lighthouse is set to open to visitors next month. We'll be joined by the Gibraltar Heritage Trust and Wright Tech Media to hear about the project and what people can expect.We'll also be looking ahead to Active Travel Month with organisers OTWO, finding out what's planned and how you can get involved.And the European Union called an emergency meeting of interior ministers today following the crisis in Ceuta which saw up to 60,000 migrants cross the border from Morocco into the enclave.
