Is modern life hardening the soil of our hearts before the Word even has a chance to land?In this first installment of our special intergenerational series, we begin unpacking Jesus' Parable of the Sower—not as ancient farmland wisdom, but as a startlingly accurate diagnosis of the spiritual environment facing our teens and young adults today.In Part 1, we tackle the first two soils:🌱 The Hardened Path (Vs. 4, 19) – We look at how the relentless ping of notifications, algorithms, and dopamine-driven doom-scrolling have created a spiritual crust on young hearts. The Word hits the surface but simply cannot penetrate a fragmented, over-stimulated mind. We discuss how this leads to spiritual numbness and apathy.⛰️ The Rocky Ground (Vs. 5-6, 20-21) – We explore the "Youth Camp Crash"—why powerful emotional worship highs often wither under the scorching heat of social scrutiny, academic pressure, and the lonely transition into young adulthood.
